Supply & Distribution

BitAIcoin inherits Bitcoin's chain history and ownership state through block 225429. At that fork point, approximately 10.886 million coins already existed under the corresponding historical Bitcoin keys.

These inherited coins were not issued to the BitAIcoin developer and are not a BitAIcoin premine. Native BAIC issuance begins at block 225430 and follows the chain's Bitcoin-derived subsidy schedule.

Methodology. Current total supply equals the inherited spendable Bitcoin-era supply at block 225429 plus native BAIC subsequently issued by BitAIcoin blocks. The inherited allocation preserves historical ownership and was not allocated to the BitAIcoin developer. Every native block is measured from the node, and the total is checked against the node's UTXO set.

Protocol

No ICO. No protocol premine. No protocol developer allocation. No protocol developer fee.

Pool fee (separate)

The public mining pool charges a 1% pool-operator fee on blocks it finds. It is a pool fee, paid in that block's coinbase, not a protocol or developer fee. Solo miners on their own node pay nothing.

Founder-mined native BAIC

The founder's nodes bootstrapped the network, so most native BAIC so far was mined to the founder: coinbase outputs to founder addresses total 69,275.00056766 BAIC (subsidy plus fees). Founder-held balance at the last wallet audit: 69,272.50 BAIC. Inherited coins are separate: they belong to whoever holds the historical Bitcoin keys.

Why the inherited figure is 10,885,589.81 and not 10,885,750

Bitcoin's subsidy schedule for blocks 0 to 225429 adds up to 10,885,750 coins, but not all of them ever existed as spendable outputs. The inherited figure above is spendable supply: what the UTXO set actually held at the end of block 225429, measured two independent ways that agree to the satoshi. It is not nominal scheduled issuance.

Subsidy schedule, blocks 0–22542910,885,750.00000000
Genesis coinbase (never spendable by consensus)−50.00000000
Duplicate coinbases at blocks 91842 and 91880 (BIP30)−100.00000000
Subsidy and fees early miners did not claim−10.18898817
Inherited spendable supply at fork (UTXO set, block 225429)10,885,589.81101183

Maximum supply is the consensus subsidy cap, the same as Bitcoin's. Because of the amounts above, at most 20,999,839.78791183 BAIC can ever be spendable.
